Solar Panels

If you search for info about the U.S. power grid, you will quickly learn how fragile and vulnerable it is.  What does that mean to you?  You NEED to have backup sources for power.  Whether it's for cooking, keeping cool in the summer, keeping warm in the winter, powering your refrigerator, charging your phones, and various other reasons, you NEED to have backup power sources

The pros of having a gas generator is that you don't have to rely on the sun to recharge and they are usually cheaper than solar.  Gas Generators can power a lot more for less than a similar priced solar generator.  However, gas generators are loud and in an event where there is civil unrest, you don't want to draw unwanted attention to your home. You also have to run the gas generators outside so that is another thing to think about if deciding between a gas generator and a solar.  And of course the obvious, once you're out of gas, you're out of power.

If you are able to get both a gas generator and a solar, then that would be the best way to be prepared all around.

The DuroMax XP13000HXT 13,000-Watt 500cc portable generator can be run on either gasoline, propane, or natural gas.  There is a switch to easily change fuel types. While this is a very large unit, it does have wheels to make it easier to transport and it has enough power to keep your home running during a power outage.

The EcoFlow Delta 2 Max Solar Generator is the Industry's lightest 2400W LFP solar generator.  This is one of the latest EcoFlow models and it's made with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery.  Why is that important?  Because you can charge this battery 3,000 times and it will still contain 80% of it's capacity. The best things about solar generators in general is that there's no noise, no fumes from fuels, and no maintenance.
